• Rachel introduced Safari Portal's new Themes module, which gives you one central place to create and manage the branding used across your client-facing experiences.
• Set up your Brand Kit once. Choose your logo, favicon, primary and secondary fonts, brand colors, button colors, and button styles. Once saved, your Brand Kit becomes the default foundation for your client-facing materials.
• Your branding is applied automatically. The Brand Kit theme is applied to existing and future Travel Dashboards, Forms, and Invoices, so you do not need to restyle each item manually.
• No custom development is required. Once your theme is configured, Safari Portal handles the consistent application of your fonts, colors, logo, and styles across supported touchpoints.
• Create as many themes as you need. Your Brand Kit is the default, but you can create additional themes and apply them to individual items for different brands, divisions, client types, destinations, or events.
• Custom template fonts are available. If you already have a custom Itinerary or Lookbook template, the fonts included in that design will appear in your font dropdowns. For other custom font needs, contact [email protected] to discuss the available options.
• Themes work alongside Custom Apps and Custom Templates. For now, continue using your existing custom template workflow for Itineraries and Lookbooks. Themes do not replace that process yet.
• Super Builders will bring Themes to more content. When Super Builders launches, your Brand Kit will also be available for Itineraries and Lookbooks. At that point, Themes and the custom template experience will become much more closely connected.
• 🏆 Travel Dashboard Showcase reminder. July 30 was the final day to submit a favorite Travel Dashboard for a chance to win a $200 Amazon gift card and the title of best travel dashboarder. The team will anonymize private information, select the finalists, and invite the community to vote.
• From the Q&A. Users can choose from the fonts in the dropdown, including fonts already tied to their custom templates. Additional custom fonts may require help from the Safari Portal team. Themes and custom templates are not the same today, but they are expected to come together more fully with Super Builders.
