You may want to include various emergency contacts in your itineraries or guest portals, such as DMC ground contacts or hotel information.
The best way to manage this in Safari Portal is by saving each contact as a Miscellaneous Page in your Content Library. This allows you to quickly and easily reuse that contact information whenever needed in any proposal, using the Content Block Element.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
For example, you could create a Miscellaneous page with the emergency contact information for a DMC you work with often:

You can use the Name and Tags to find it again easily later.

Now that that page lives in your Content Library, you can use the Content Block Element within any page, itinerary, lookbook, or guest portal to pull this content in as a section within any other page, like this:

You can read more about what you can do with the Block element here.
There are a few different ways you could then pull contacts in with the Block element, including:
Option 1: Pull In A Blank Page For Emergency Contacts Within Any Lookbook, Itinerary, Or Guest Portal
If you have a list of contacts you'd like to share and have already created them as Miscellaneous Pages in your Content Library, you can easily compile all the emergency contacts into a single, stand-alone page.
To do this, create a blank Miscellaneous Page in your Content Library and name it something like "Emergency Contacts," and tag it as Blank Page.
Once it's set up, you can pull this blank page into any itinerary or guest portal and use Content Blocks to selectively add the contacts you need from your library.
Option 2: Add Any Emergency Contacts You Need To The Existing Emergency Contacts Section In Guest Portals
- Guest Portals have a standard Emergency Contact section at the bottom of the Travel Brief / Trip Manifest.
- You can use the Content Block Element to pull any relevant contacts in right there.
Pro Tip: If you prefer to share your Emergency Contacts as a stand-alone page (as mentioned in Option 1 above), you can skip using this section. Simply delete the text field and the "Emergency Contacts" title, then add a space to prevent any placeholder text from appearing on the client-facing portal. Afterward, you can pull in a blank page or a pre-configured page from your Content Library containing the relevant emergency contacts.
Option 3: Pull In Emergency Contacts Using The Block Element At A Some Other Point In The Itinerary/ Guest Portal Process
For example, you may want to include the emergency contacts on the property check-in day. You can use the block feature to pull your contacts anywhere!
