Can I create a quote from an Itinerary?
Export an Itinerary from the Calendar Builder to Google Sheets for an instant quote.

You can now build an Itinerary in Safari Portal’s Calendar Builder and export all dates and events directly to a pre-formatted Google Sheet with built-in pricing formulas. This lets you generate a quote for the same trip without having to re-enter the same information in two places.

⚠️ Before you begin, all individual users within the account will need to connect the Google Sheets integration from the Integrations tab in their Account Settings. When connecting to a Google Drive, you have two options:

    • Shared Drive: Have all team members connect to the same Google Drive, so all exports go to one location.
    • Individual Drives: Have each user connect their own Google Drive so exports are saved separately.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Create the Itinerary as usual by adding events on the Details tab.
  2. Navigate to the Itinerary tab.
  3. From the Save dropdown, choose Save to Google Sheet.

4. Check your Google Drive and you will find a new sheet with the File name.

5. Open the spreadsheet to show:

    • Dates
    • Notes
    • Event Titles
    • Event Types
    • A set of pre-formatted columns with built-in formulas.
      • Just enter the number of guests, standard markup, net costs, and quantities, and the sheet calculates everything for you.

Tips & Tricks💥

  • You can enter a default markup, but also change this on individual events.
  • In the additional costs (above rack per person at the bottom) - you can add any additional costs that will not be marked up but will be added to the total rack costs.
