How do I reassign a task to another member of my team?
Step-by-step guide to assigning a task to someone else on your team.
You can only edit a task if you created it or it’s assigned to you. If that’s the case, reassigning it is quick and easy.
Step-By-Step Instructions
Option One (Individual Reassignment)
- Locate the task you'd like to edit in your Task Manager.
- Click Edit to the right of the task.
- In the pop-up, navigate to the Assigned To field.
- From the dropdown, Select the name of the person you wish to assign the task to.
- Or type their name and select it from the dropdown.
- Click Update.

Option Two (Bulk Reassign)
- Navigate to your Task Manager.
- Check the box next to the Task header to select all tasks.
- Or select multiple tasks by checking the box next to the task name.
- In the pop-up, navigate to the Assigned To field.
- From the dropdown, Select the name of the person you wish to assign the task to.
- Or type their name and select it from the dropdown.
- Click Reassign.
