Message Templates allow you to create and save individual messages that you can reuse across your business.
You can access Message Templates by navigating to More Options > Message Templates.
Note: Message Templates is a permissions-based feature. If you do not see More Options > Message Templates, please ask your account administrator to update your user permissions.
Message Templates are ideal for messages that you send repeatedly, such as:
- Welcome messages
- Pre-departure reminders
- Payment reminders
- Arrival instructions
- Post-trip follow-ups
- Frequently used responses
Once created, Message Templates can be pulled "off the shelf" and sent immediately within any chat, or scheduled to be sent at a later date.
Using Message Templates helps ensure consistency across your team while reducing the amount of time spent typing repetitive messages.
How to send a Message Template
To send a Message Template, open any chat and click the arrow next to the Send button. Select Send Template, search for the message template you'd like to use, and then click Send.
How to schedule a Message Template
To schedule a Message Template, open any chat and click the arrow next to the Send button. Select Schedule Message, then choose the Template option and search for the message template you'd like to schedule.
You can then select the date, time, and time zone in which the message should be sent. Once scheduled, the message will appear in the Scheduled tab within the Messages module, where you can review and manage all upcoming messages.
