Can I schedule chat messages?
Plan and send messages exactly when you need them.
Scheduling chat messages lets you plan ahead and ensure your messages are delivered exactly when you want them to be. Whether you're coordinating with your team or managing updates, it keeps communication on track.
- To use messaging on a File, you must first create a chat group for that File.
- Chat members must be associated with the File as either a Partner Agent, Sales Consultant, Trip Leader, Supplier, or Traveler via the Information tab or Traveler tab of the File.
- If no chat group exists, in-app chat will not be available.

You can start a new chat group from either of these places:
- Messages Module on your sidebar.
- Messages Tab inside the expanded view of any File.

How to Schedule a Message
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Once the chat group has been created, select the arrow next to the Send button.
- Choose Schedule Message.
- In the Schedule Message modal:
- Enter the message.
- Choose the date and time to send the message.
- Select the relevant time zone.
- Click the Schedule button.
- Recipients will get messages in three ways:
- In-app via the Notifications Center (accessible from the bell icon with a notification badge)
- Push notifications on their phone (may depend on their phone settings)
- Email (with the ability to reply directly from email)
