Quick Takeaways
- Safari Portal now offers direct integrations with Stripe and Flywire. Users can connect an existing Stripe or Flywire account, or create a new one, depending on their location and business needs.
- Safari Portal’s Invoicing & Financials module can generate invoices in seconds, either from scratch or by using customizable templates. Templates can store standard payment schedules, company information, cancellation policies, and terms and conditions to save time.
- Invoice amounts automatically pull from confirmed itineraries if pricing is entered per person or per trip in the cost section. Users can manually adjust invoice amounts, add new line items like planning fees or extra activities, and edit invoice details at any time.
- Automated payment reminders can be scheduled to send before, on, or after payment due dates and can be customized for each invoice. Payment processor fees, such as credit card surcharges, can be configured to be either absorbed into the invoice total or passed along to the client.
- Incoming client payments and outgoing supplier expenses can both be recorded and tracked within the Financials module. Supplier expenses can be attached to specific files, with invoices uploaded for full visibility on incoming and outgoing cash flow.
- A new “View Statistics” tab is being developed to allow users to see total booking revenue, projected profit, and consultant-specific performance over time.
- Users can export payment data to CSV for QuickBooks or Xero, with the option to request custom CSV formats for other accounting platforms like Sage.
- Users can manually mark invoices as paid if not using Stripe or Flywire, with options to share invoices via PDF instead of email. Invoices can display multiple payment methods, including ACH and bank wire transfers, even if credit card payments are disabled.
