What are the different parts of a task?
Learn about the key components that make up a task.

Here’s a detailed guide on how to fill in each part of a task—whether you’re creating a one-off task or adding it to your Task Set.

 

 

  • Task Name
    • This will be displayed on the high-level of your Task Manager table.
  • File Name
    • The name of the File the task is assigned to.
  • Assign to
    • Select who will complete this task from your list of team members (through scrolling or searching).
  • Task Type
    • Select what category this task is. Select up to two task types. This will help you sort and find tasks later on.
    • If you select Email, add the subject line and email draft to the task.
  • Due Date
    • Set when this task will be due.
      • Click the to customize the number of days.
      • Select 0 days before or after a triggering event to set a task to be due on that day.
      • Click into the before rectangle to customize before or after the triggering event.
      • Click into start of the trip to customize what triggering event should be used to calculate the due date. Certain options only appear when selecting before or selecting after.
  • Or manually enter the date.

 

 

  • Note
    • Add relevant details or context to the task's Notes section.
