How to change your custom domain for branded links
Learn how to disconnect your current custom domain and connect a new one to your Safari Portal account.

If you already have custom links set up and you'd like to change the custom domain to something else, you can do so at any time from the Account Admin > Account Settings.

Step 1: Disconnect Your Existing Domain

  1. Navigate to Account Settings.
  2. Locate your current custom domain settings.
  3. Click Revert Changes.

This will disconnect your existing custom domain and return your account to the default Safari Portal domain.

โš ๏ธ Important: As soon as you disconnect your custom domain, any existing links using that domain will stop working.

Step 2: Connect Your New Domain

Once your previous domain has been disconnected:

  1. Follow the steps in our custom domain setup guide here to connect your new domain.
  2. You are not limited to using "itineraries" in your URL. You can choose any subdomain that fits your brand.
  3. Complete the DNS setup and verification process.

Step 3: Generate New Links

After your new custom domain has been successfully connected, any newly generated links will use your new branded domain.

โš ๏ธ Please note that links created using your previous custom domain will not automatically update. You will need to generate and share new links with your clients.

Customize Individual Itinerary and Lookbook URLs

Did you know that you can also customize the URL of individual Itineraries, Lookbooks, and Travel Dashboards?

This allows you to create cleaner, more personalized links for your clients while keeping your custom domain in place.
