Quick Takeaways

  • Use a Lookbook while a client is still in the inspiration or discovery phase and you want to get ideas and options in front of them quickly. Save the itinerary for when the trip is confirmed or close to it and you're ready for day-by-day logistics and timings. If you only want to suggest one rough structure, like three nights here and two there, a Classic Builder itinerary is actually quicker. What is the difference between a Lookbook and an Itinerary?
  • A great Lookbook tells a story. Instead of piling up content pages, weave them together so it's clear what you're suggesting, like two options for Seychelles and two for the Maldives, each with a short label such as "Option 1" or "Where you could stay."
  • Share your expertise, not just the destination info. A fast facts element like "Why we love this for you" tells clients why you picked a property, and that's why they're working with you.
  • Finish with a clear next step. Add a feedback form through a Make Bookable call-to-action button or embed it right in the Lookbook, and responses land on the file and the contact profile. Pick the button or the page, not both.
  • Superbuilder Lookbooks bring drag-and-drop page reordering, autosave, and a Publish button, so teammates can't overwrite each other and clients only see changes when you publish.
  • Pages can be saved back to your content library with your tweaks, including a page like Seychelles with its two property options already built in, ready to reuse next time.
  • Content blocks and accordions keep long Lookbooks compact: drop a property into a destination page as a content block, then tuck each option into an accordion so clients open only what they want. Accordions work in current Lookbooks too. About the Accordion Element and About the Content Block Element
  • Make a Lookbook bookable so clients pick an option and add-ons, enter guest details, get a travel insurance quote, and receive an invoice without emailing you first. Set a traveler limit and the button hides itself once it's reached. Can I let clients choose their own options and book trips directly?
  • Lookbook themes control fonts, font sizes, colors, button styles, and three launch layouts, with options for the contact icon, PDF downloads, the navigation bar, and text over images. Need a font that isn't listed? Email Rachel and it can be added for a small fee.
  • Translation covers the whole Lookbook, not just the system text. Everything is translated with DeepL, can be saved to your content library, tweaked, and downloaded as a PDF in that language.
  • Magic Import works with Superbuilder, and you can try it now in the content library by importing a file, prompt, or URL to build a property page. A URL import grabs the photos too.
  • Convert to Itinerary will be possible once Superbuilder itineraries launch, with a choice of real dates or not and whether each page becomes a standalone page or an event on a specific day. It may not be in the first Lookbook release.
  • Rachel's target is to launch Superbuilder Lookbooks next week, and no later than the week after, with itineraries within the following four or five weeks. Custom templates are being rebuilt so they get the new layouts. Beta testers for itineraries can ask Rachel.
