⚙️ Account Settings
Getting Started Guide: Add your logo, manage user permissions, update your subscriptions, integrations, and more.

The Account Settings is where users can update their contact details and email notification settings. If you are the Account Admin, you'll see additional options — like managing integrations, users, subscriptions, and billing. Read on to learn more, or check out the video lesson on Account Settings on the Safari Portal Academy.

To access your Account Settings, click the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Settings For All Users

All users can access the Personal tab. From here, you can update the personal information associated with your account by editing the following fields:

Personal Settings

In Personal Settings, you can update your display name (as shown throughout Safari Portal, such as when listed as the File owner) and adjust your time zone. To change the email address associated with your Safari Portal account, please contact us at [email protected].

Change Your Password or Enable 2FA

In the Security section, you can change your password or enable two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

Add or Update Your Contact Details

The details you set here will appear on all proposals you create and share. You can update them at any time in the Communication Preferences section.

Manage Email Notifications for Proposal Views

In Notification Settings, you can manage your email preferences by opting in or out of alerts for key activities—such as proposal views, payment status updates, and upcoming or overdue tasks. You also have the option to BCC yourself on all emails sent from the platform.

Settings for Account Admins Only

If you are the Account Admin, you have access to additional management tools. Read more about customizing Settings as an Account Admin. Below are the settings you can manage.

Company Tab

Explore each section of the Company tab below.

Company Information

The section lets you set your company's name and address for all users and set your branding preference.

Add the hex code of your primary brand color for it to be used for subtle accents throughout your proposals, such as the tick marks next to dates on Classic builder itineraries.

Company Assets

Upload your logo and add your primary brand color here.

  • When uploading a logo for your company, the file must be in PNG, JPG, or SVG format, no larger than 1200px x 1200px, and under 5 MB.

Add a custom favicon so your brand appears in browser tabs across all shared Lookbooks, Itineraries, and Guest Portals.

  • When uploading your favicon, make sure it is square. This helps it display cleanly and professionally in browser tabs.
  • Please make sure your favicon is at least 180px x 180px.

Terms & Policies

Publish your company’s Terms & Policies to unlock the Guest Forms feature (if included in your plan). This allows clients to securely submit important personal information.

Customized Link Sharing

Enable custom URLs for the proposals you share, making your links more branded and professional.

  • Example: itineraries.your-company-name.com/mayas-itinerary instead of itineraries.safariportal.app/94864586348456.

API Settings

Connect Safari Portal to third-party quotation platforms. This integration lets you build quotes externally and generate Safari Portal proposals with just one click.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

This is only relevant for users wishing to use GTM to track activity on their Safari Portal documents. Please note that this only works with those users with a Custom Domain set up (Tier II +). Learn more about using GTM with Safari Portal.

Manage Users

In the Users tab, you can add or remove users, manage their permissions, and transfer Account Admin rights when needed.

Integrations

In the Integrations tab, you can connect Safari Portal to Google Sheets to automatically add or update rows when a client completes a form—streamlining your data management. You can also connect to payment processors like Stripe, Flywire, and NMI to securely collect and manage payments directly through your proposals, or use Flowbrite to send secure payments to suppliers.

Subscription Management

In the Subscription tab, you can manage your plan details, update billing information, and view past invoices—making it easy to keep your account up to date.
