Why is the “Pay” button missing on an invoice even though I have Flywire set up?
Learn the most common reasons the Pay button may not appear on an invoice, even when Flywire is connected.

If the Pay button is not appearing on an invoice, this is typically related to how Flywire handles multi-currency payment portals.

Why This Happens

Flywire requires a separate portal setup for each currency you plan to invoice in.


If an invoice is issued in a currency that does not yet have a corresponding Flywire portal connected to Safari Portal, the system cannot display the Pay button for that invoice — even if Flywire is already connected for other currencies.

How to Fix It

Step 1: Set Up the Currency Portal with Flywire

  • Reach out to Flywire and request a portal for the currency you would like to invoice in.

Step 2: Send Safari Portal Your Credentials

  • Once the portal has been created, send the following details to the Safari Portal team:
    • Portal Code
    • Secret Key


Step 3: We’ll Connect It for You

  • Our team will connect the portal to your Safari Portal account, and the Pay button should then appear automatically on invoices issued in that currency moving forward.


Important Notes

  • Each currency requires its own Flywire portal connection.
  • Existing invoices may need to be refreshed or regenerated after the connection is completed.
  • If you invoice in multiple currencies, we recommend setting up all required currency portals upfront to avoid interruptions.
