How can I add departure day, closing, or next steps pages to an itinerary?

Introduction

It’s often a good idea to ensure your itinerary doesn’t simply end abruptly. Adding a closing page, next steps section, or at least a departure day page can provide a more polished and thoughtful conclusion. Here are a few ways to achieve this:

Adding a Departure Day Page

Create the Page in Your Content Library

There are two ways to create a new Activity Page:

  1. From the Content Library:
    • Navigate to your Content Library.
    • Click the + Create New button and select Activity Page to begin.
  2. While Building an Itinerary:
    • Click + Create New directly within the itinerary-building Details tab flow.

No matter which method you choose, the page will automatically be saved to your Content Library, allowing you to reuse it for future itineraries.

Steps to Add a Departure Day Page in the Classic Builder

  1. Add a Row:
    • Navigate to the Details tab in the Classic Builder and add a new row at the end of the table.
  2. From the Date Column:
    • Click into the Date column and select Activity from the dropdown menu.
  3. Link the Departure Day Page:
    • In the Transfers, Flights, and Daily Activities column, use the @mention feature to link the pre-built Departure Day Page, or click + Create New to build one on the spot.
  4. If Creating the Page Now:
    • Ensure you include a primary image on the left-hand side.

Steps to Add a Departure Day Page in the Calendar Builder

  • 1. Add an Event:
    • Navigate to Details tab in the Calendar Builder
    • Add a new Activity event to the last day of the itinerary
  • 2. Link the Departure Day Page:
    • Search your Content Library for an existing Departure Day page and pull it into the event
    • Alternatively, click + Create New to build a new Departure Day page directly within the builder.
    • Optionally, select a fun Event Icon like a "hand wave" and use the Save for Later functionality to make sure that the next time you use this same page, that icon will automatically be set.

Adding a Next Steps or Closing Page to the End of An Itinerary

  1. Access the General Info Tab:
    • In either the Classic Builder or Calendar Builder, navigate to the General Info tab.
  2. Locate the Information Pages Section:
    • Scroll down to the Information Pages from Content Library section.
  3. Add a Closing Page or Next Steps Page:
    • In the third section labeled "At the End of the Itinerary," search for and select the Closing Page or Next Steps Page you want to include.
