If you see an error when trying to delete a contact, it may be because the contact is listed as the recipient of an invoice. Delete the invoice or change its recipient, then try deleting the contact again from your Contacts module.

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Find the invoice that has this contact as its recipient.
2. Delete the invoice, or change its recipient to a different contact.
3. Navigate to the Contacts module.
4. Click the three dots ⁝ next to the contact.
5. Select Remove.
6. Click Yes, I'm Sure.

• Expenses won't stop you from removing a contact. The expense stays on the File, but its Recipient will be blank.
