How does Zapier work?
When something happens in one app, Zapier can make something happen in another, without you needing to learn how to code.
You tell Zapier to watch for something to happen in one app; this is called a trigger. Once that trigger takes place, Zapier can make things happen in other apps; these are called actions. The combination of a trigger and one or more actions to create an automation is called a Zap.
For example, when a File is moved from Planning to Confirmed in your Safari Portal Dashboard (trigger), you can make it so the corresponding deal in HubSpot also moves stages (action), and then send you a message on Slack (action).

How much does Zapier cost?
Zapier charges based on tasks: every time an action runs in a Zap, that counts as one task. For example, a Zap with two actions that runs 50 times in a month uses 100 tasks.
Zapier is free to use for two-step Zaps (one trigger, one action), limited to 100 tasks per month. Paid plans, starting at $20 USD/month (paid annually), unlock having Zaps with multiple steps and higher task limits.
Refer to Zapier's cost page for the most up-to-date information with your applicable currency.
