Safari Portal gives you plenty of flexibility to customize the icons and titles of your itinerary events, helping you create beautiful, personalized experiences that reflect your brand and content.
How to Change an Event Icon
- Open your itinerary in Calendar View and click on the event you'd like to customize.
- At the top of the event editor, you'll see a colored bar displaying the event icon and title.
- Click the event icon to open the icon selector.
- Choose from three options:
- Icon Library: Browse suggested icons based on your recently used selections, or search the extensive icon library.
- Media Library: Search for images and icons in the media library. Tip: Try searching for "icon" to discover additional options.
- Upload Your Own: Upload custom icons in JPEG or PNG format by dragging and dropping your files into the upload tab.
- Select your preferred icon to apply it to the event.
Reusing Your Custom Icons
Once you've uploaded a custom icon, it will automatically be available in your Media Library.
To reuse it in another event, simply open the icon selector, switch to the Media Library tab, and search for your previously uploaded icon.
Tip: When you save an event to your Resources, its selected icon is saved too, so you can maintain consistent iconography across future itineraries.
How to Change an Event Title
- Open the event you'd like to edit.
- Click directly on the event title in the colored bar at the top of the event editor.
- Type your preferred title.
You can customize event titles to be as descriptive, creative, or concise as you'd like.
