Quick Takeaways
- In this year-end roundup, the Safari Portal team recapped key 2025 launches, shared what’s coming in 2026. They also asked attendees to submit their feedback in the 2025 year-end customer survey.
- Invoicing & Financials was a major 2025 release, where users can create client invoices in seconds and accept payments via credit card, ACH, or wire, with integrations available for Stripe, Flywire, and NMI (plus upcoming integrations for Flowbrite supplier payments and Protected Payment Services next year).
- The Dashboard received major upgrades, including expanded File views (tasks, messages, documents, and File details in one place), and the ability to collapse the side navigation.
- Pipelines & Sales Tracking are now more flexible: Safari Portal includes default pipelines (Leads, Planning, Confirmed, Traveling, Completed, Archives), supports auto-moving Files based on travel dates, and lets you create custom Dashboard stages.
- Bookable Trips lets you create bookable packages/options with capacity and pricing, add a configurable Book button, enable secure checkout, track payments/invoices in Financials, and automate payment reminders.
- Magic Import enables AI-powered PDF parsing to recreate itineraries inside Safari Portal, with additional improvements planned.
- Credit Card Authorization supports storing card details via the contact profile, customizable terms/templates, and billing info requests—with the ability to keep cards on file up to 12 months coming early next year.
- Custom Forms (with e-signatures) can be used for guest forms, trip planning, feedback, waivers, and lead capturing (including website embeds). Submissions update existing contacts or create new ones automatically. Pulling custom guest forms into Guest Portals is planned for early 2026.
- Maps moved from Google Maps to Mapbox, giving more control over styling—with future enhancements planned (pinning activities/transfers/flights, route lines, and icon customization).
- In-app Messaging tie chat groups with travelers, suppliers, and partners to a File; users receive messages via push + email and can reply from either. Scheduled messages are coming soon, and multiple chat groups per File are on the roadmap.
- Looking ahead, Super Builder (2026 focus) will introduce autosave, undo/redo, draft vs. publish, improved bulk actions, live collaboration (including cross-team), themes (fonts/colors/buttons), group trips with event visibility, and new table views with deeper quoting and ops workflows.
- Additional 2026 work includes a Redpoint travel insurance integration, expanded Zapier integrations (CRMs + potential QuickBooks/Xero), richer reporting dashboards/visualizations, and exploration of workflow-triggered email automation.
