Managing Supplier & Client Payments in Safari Portal
Safari Portal allows you to securely collect payments from your clients by connecting supported payment processors.
Once connected, you can accept credit card payments, bank transfers, ACH payments, and other local payment methods, depending on the provider.
Note: You can connect multiple payment processors and choose which one to use on a case-by-case basis.
Safari Portal also makes it easy to track and pay supplier expenses. All payments are linked to the relevant file and automatically reflected in your Financials module, where you can clearly see incoming and outgoing payments, as well as your overall margin.
You can also easily track who has paid you, how much they’ve paid, and when, as well as which suppliers you have paid or still owe and when those payments are due.
Benefits of Connecting a Payment Processor
Connecting a payment provider unlocks several important features in Safari Portal.
Bookable Trips
You can enable a “Book Now” button on itineraries and lookbooks. This allows clients to:

The system will also:
- Track who has signed up for each option
- Show what each client has paid and what they still owe
- Send automated payment reminders and confirmations
- Manage inventory for group trips
Secure Invoice Payments
When a payment processor is connected, any invoice can include a secure checkout, allowing clients to pay immediately online.
Automatic Payment Tracking
Safari Portal will automatically track when payments are:
- Planned
- Pending
- Paid
You can also:
- Automate payment reminders
- Show refunds
- Apply discounts to invoices
- Automatically update invoice totals
Credit Card Surcharging
You can configure whether to:
- Cover credit card processing fees, or
- Pass the surcharge to the client
- If a client chooses to pay by card, the invoice will automatically update to reflect the surcharge.
- If a client chooses to pay by card, the invoice will automatically update to reflect the surcharge.
