Show new chat message alerts

By default, Safari Portal displays a notification badge in the left-hand navigation whenever you receive a new chat message.

If you prefer not to see notification badges for unread messages while working in Safari Portal, you can disable them by navigating to More Options > Message Settings and turning off Show new chat message alerts.

This setting only controls whether the visual notification badge appears within Safari Portal. It does not affect email notifications or in-app notifications sent through the Travel Portal app.

Disabling this setting can be helpful if you prefer a less cluttered workspace while still receiving message notifications through other channels.
