How do I use Flight Events?
Add flights to your Itinerary in several ways.

You can add flights to your Itinerary in several ways using the Flight Event:

  • Add Flights Manually: Ideal for private charters, non-GDS flights, or flights that haven't been booked yet.
  • Automated Flight Search: This option allows you to search for flights and optionally receive automated notifications if there are any changes to the flight.
    • Search by Flight Number: Add a flight by entering the airline and flight number directly.
    • Search by Flight Route: If you only know the departure and arrival cities, you can search for flights based on the route.

How to Add Flights Manually

  • Click the Add Flights Manually button
  • Select the departure and arrival dates
  • Optionally input times
  • Create new Departure From and Arrival To options
    • These will be saved so you can easily grab these options if needed again later

Optionally, add any of the below:

  • Flight Details like duration, airline, and confirmation number
  • A Display Title to be displayed on the Travel Brief page and the Day page
  • Any relevant, already created content from your Content Library, like a description of the plane
    • You can choose to collapse this content under "More Details," so that on the Day page, the content will be hidden within an accordion. The section can be expanded to view the details as needed, keeping the page clean and tidy.
  • Any optional Notes
    • These will be displayed on both the Travel Brief and the Day Page

How to Add Flights via Automated Flights Search

Search by Flight Number

  • Select the departure date
  • Enter for the airline and flight number and click Search
  • Optionally uncheck automated notifications
    • Notify me if this flight in cancelled, delayed, or rescheduled.
      • This will send the person who owns the file a notification.
      • Note: we will not notify your client directly.
    • Update the client-facing itinerary if this flight is changed.
      • This will automatically update the client-facing itinerary with any updated flight information in case they happen to check the itinerary.
    • Note: we start checking for flight changes from 72 hours prior to travel.
  • Optionally, add a special Display Title, any relevant information pages from your Content Library, and Notes
