Every form in Safari Portal requires a first name, last name, and email address — that's how the system identifies unique contacts. But children often don't have an email address, and the information you need to collect from kids is usually different from what you need from adults.

The solution

Step 1: Build your adult form

Set this up the way you normally would, with the fields you need from adult travelers.

Step 2: Build your children's form

Customize the email field's label or placeholder text to handle the missing-email problem. For example, change the label to read "Email (use a parent's if your child doesn't have one)."

Step 3: Customize the submission page on your adult form

After someone submits the adult form, you can use the submission page to direct them to fill out either another adult form (for a second adult traveler) or the children's form (for a child traveler).

Step 4: Share the adult form first

This becomes your starting point — travelers fill it out, and the submission page routes them to whichever form they need next.

Using both forms in a Travel Dashboard

You can also add both forms directly to a Travel Dashboard as two separate form cards — one for adults, one for children. This lets you collect the right information from each traveler group without needing to route between separate pages.
