Occasionally, a flight may not appear in Safari Portal's automatic flight search. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including airline data availability and codeshare arrangements.
If you're unable to find a flight, try the following:
Search by route instead of flight number
If searching by flight number doesn't return any results, try searching by the departure and arrival airports instead.
For example, instead of searching for:
BA 59
Try searching for:
LHR โ CPT
In some cases, route searches can return flights that don't appear when searching by flight number alone.
Check for a codeshare flight
Many flights are operated as codeshare flights, meaning the same flight may have multiple flight numbers depending on the airline.
For example, a flight marketed by one airline may actually be operated by another airline.
If you suspect the flight is a codeshare:
- Check the airline's website or booking confirmation
- Search using the alternative flight number
- Search by route instead of flight number
Add the flight manually
If you're still unable to locate the flight, you can use the Add Flight Manually option.
This allows you to enter the flight details yourself and include the flight in the itinerary, even if it isn't available through the automatic search.
