A Content Page Card lets you display a single Content Page as a standalone card within your Travel Dashboard. It's perfect for sharing destination guides, packing lists, pre-travel information pages, or any other content you'd like guests to access directly from the dashboard.
By default, the card displays the primary image from the selected Content Page, giving guests a visual preview before they open it.
Why Use a Content Page Card?
Content Page Cards make it easy for guests to find the information they need at a glance without having to search through a larger itinerary or Lookbook.
They're ideal for information you want to highlight, such as:
- Destination guides
- Visa requirements
- Packing lists
- Important travel information
- Frequently asked questions
Step-by-Step Instructions
- In the section of your Travel Dashboard where you'd like to add the card, click + Add.
- Select Content Page from the dropdown menu. This opens the Add Content Page window.
- Under General Information, choose which library you'd like to browse:
- All Content displays both your own Content Pages and Safari Portal's built-in Content Pages.
- My Content displays only the Content Pages you've created.
- Safari Portal Content displays only the Content Pages provided by Safari Portal.
- Under Select Content Page, choose the page you'd like to display. You can begin typing the page title to quickly find it.
- Under Card Design, the Card Title automatically defaults to the title of the selected Content Page, but you can customize it if you'd like.
- Click Add Card to save the Content Page Card to your Travel Dashboard.
Editing a Content Page Card
To edit a Content Page Card after it has been added, hover over the card and click the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
You'll have two options:
Edit Card
Use Edit Card to:
- Select a different Content Page.
- Change the Card Title.
Edit Content Page
Selecting Edit Content Page allows you to customize the content specifically for this Travel Dashboard.
After confirming the Are you sure? prompt, Safari Portal creates a dashboard-specific copy of the Content Page.
This copy:
- Belongs only to the current Travel Dashboard.
- Can be edited independently of the original.
- Does not affect the original Content Page in your Content Library.
Note: Changes made to the original Content Page in your Content Library are not automatically applied to Content Pages that have been added to Travel Dashboards. Likewise, the Apply Updates functionality does not currently update Content Pages used in Travel Dashboards.
Limitations
Content Page Cards currently have a few limitations:
- The image displayed on the card is always the primary image from the Content Page. To change the card image, you'll need to change the primary image on the Content Page itself.
- Individual Content Pages cannot currently be printed as PDFs. (Printing support is coming soon.)
- Individual Content Pages do not currently inherit your custom Themes, including fonts and styling.
If you'd like your content to be printable or use your custom branding, add the Content Pages to a Lookbook first, then use a Lookbook card instead.
