🛠️ Element Library
In this Getting Started guide, you’ll learn how to use our tools to customize your content and bring it to life.

You can access the Element Library whenever you use the in-line editor while creating Content Pages, Lookbooks, Itineraries, and Guest Portals. This is your workspace for building and customizing content—allowing you to edit directly on the page with real-time visual updates.

What is an in-line editor? It’s a content editing tool that allows you to make changes directly on the page where the content appears, so you can see exactly how they’ll look once published.

What is the Element Library?

The Element Library is a powerful toolkit designed to give you maximum flexibility and creative freedom when building your content and proposals. It offers a wide range of customizable elements that make it easy to structure, style, and enhance your pages.

You can access the Element Library by hovering between any sections on a page and clicking the blue plus button.

The Element Library includes the following elements

Sections

  • Use the Section element to add a new section to your page, making it easy to structure your content into clear, visually distinct areas for better organization and flow.

Text

  • Use the Text element to add text blocks to your pages, making it easy to include written content wherever you need it.
  • Style or hyperlink your text using the toolbar & pull in emojis 🎉.
  • Launch your AI assistant to help draft any content.

Images

  • Use the Image element to search the Safari Portal Media Library and easily add the perfect image to enhance your content.
  • Upload your own images with ease—every image you add is automatically saved to your Media Library, making it simple to access and reuse across future projects.
  • Copy-paste images right into Safari Portal using the copy-paste functionality.
  • Adding a single image will create a single image spread; two images will create a photo grid; three or more will automatically create a slideshow.

Videos

  • The Video element in Safari Portal supports Youtube, Vimeo, and Wistia, making it easy to embed videos from your preferred platform directly into your content.
  • Simply copy and paste the video link directly into your page to seamlessly add a dynamic, engaging element that brings your proposals to life.

Facts

  • Use a fun icon to visually highlight key details in your Fast Facts, making important information easy to spot at a glance.

PDF

  • Embed any PDF document into an existing page or proposal.
  • Clients will be able to view, open, or download the PDF.
  • The PDF will be automatically saved to your Document Library, making it easy to access and reuse whenever you need it.

Block

  • Blocks allow you to reuse any standalone Content Page as a section within another page, like a "snippet."

iFrame

  • With the iFrame element, you can embed custom maps from Google Maps, My Maps, and Mapbox with directions or custom points of interest.
  • Embed interactive guides, GIFs, or videos from Arcade.
  • Embed TripClip videos (Southern Africa specific).

Accordion

  • Accordions, also known as toggles, are elements you can expand and collapse. They help keep your content organized and easy to navigate by allowing users to reveal or hide sections as needed.
  • Any element from the Element Library − like photos, maps, PDFs, videos, and more − can be placed inside an accordion. The only exception is another accordion (which would cause an infinite loop and break the universe; we told you Safari Portal was powerful!).
  • Enhance user experience by reducing scrolling and visual clutter.
  • Group related content under headings (e.g., FAQs, itineraries, product details).

AI

  • With the AI element, you can use artificial intelligence (AI) directly within Safari Portal to speed up Content Page, Itinerary, Lookbook, or Guest Portal creation.
  • This feature is designed to help you complete work more efficiently.
  • Access Safari Portal’s AI in any Text Block from the Element Library.

Invoice

  • With the Invoice Element, you can drop invoices directly into an Itinerary, Lookbook, or Guest Portal with just a few clicks.

Forms

With these elements, it's easy to design eye-catching and informative content that highlights who you are and what you do best.

To learn more about the individual elements and how to use them, explore the Element Library section of the Help Center.
