How do I avoid confusion when sharing multiple options or versions of a trip?
Best practices for presenting multiple proposals clearly, both in and out of the Travel Portal app.

If you’ve shared multiple proposals—such as different Itinerary versions or trip options—there may be several links in circulation, which can lead to confusion. Here are some options and best practices to avoid potential confusion:

Deactivate the Outdated Proposals

  • If you deactivate an Itinerary or Lookbook link in Safari Portal, it will be automatically removed from the Travel Portal app.
    • To make the proposal visible again, simply reactivate the link, and it will reappear in the app.

Rename Any Outdated or Irrelevant Proposals

  • To help distinguish between versions, include a clear and descriptive label in the proposal title, such as:
    • Outdated
    • Preliminary
    • Confirmed
    • Final
  • This way, when your clients view the different links, it will be clear to them what they're looking at.
