How do I avoid confusion when sharing multiple options or versions of a trip?
Best practices for presenting multiple proposals clearly, both in and out of the Travel Portal app.

If youโ€™ve shared multiple proposalsโ€”such as different Itinerary versions or trip optionsโ€”there may be several links in circulation, which can lead to confusion. Here are some options and best practices to avoid potential confusion:

Deactivate the Outdated Proposals

  • If you deactivate an Itinerary or Lookbook link in Safari Portal, it will be automatically removed from the Travel Portal app.
    • To make the proposal visible again, simply reactivate the link, and it will reappear in the app.

Rename Any Outdated or Irrelevant Proposals

  • To help distinguish between versions, include a clear and descriptive label in the proposal title, such as:
    • Outdated
    • Preliminary
    • Confirmed
    • Final
  • This way, when your clients view the different links, it will be clear to them what they're looking at.
