• Rachel introduced Lily Wild, Safari Portal's new AI assistant built directly into the platform, gave a live demo, and walked through the new Safari Portal MCP server, also now in beta.

• The more you fill in a File's Information tab, the more Lily can tell you. Source, trip type, travel region, and the estimated trip value/profit fields all feed her conversion-rate, forecast, and business-insight answers — anything left blank, she can't use.
• She can already report on conversion rates, pipeline and departure timing, and outstanding payments or supplier spend, all in conversational text — ask how long it takes to confirm a File and she'll give you the average, median, and how many are still unconfirmed. Results cap at 50 records at a time; ask through the MCP or fall back to Safari Portal's own filters for anything larger.
• She's Agentic, not just read-only — she can create Contacts and Tasks today. Copy-paste a client's texted passport number or dietary note straight into Lily and ask her to build or update the profile; she's smart enough to flag a likely duplicate and ask before overwriting it.
• Coach Me, Lily gives one personalized setup tip at a time, based on what your account is actually missing, and walks you through fixing it if you say yes.
• The Safari Portal MCP server is also live in beta. Connect Safari Portal directly to Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible assistant from Account Settings > Integrations > AI Assistants, and ask the same kinds of questions from outside the platform. • Lily is free while she's in beta. Safari Portal expects to introduce paid AI packages later for heavier usage, similar to buying model usage elsewhere — nothing decided yet on pricing or timing.
• Not live yet: building itineraries (waiting on Super Builder), Bed Night Reports, date/location questions like "which trips are in Nairobi the weekend of November 25th," and managing or organizing images.
• From the Q&A. Voice input/dictation is being looked at; identifying duplicate contacts and editing existing ones should land within a week or two; British English or Spanish output depends on an upcoming brand voice-and-tone setting in Themes and isn't promised for Lily yet; and MCP write access — currently just contacts and tasks — has to be explicitly checked on during the connector's authorization step, separate from read access.
