If you’re using Squarespace, you’ll need to make sure both versions of your website’s domain are added to the allowlist for your Custom Forms.
Add to site as a custom element
Wix and Squarespace use two different domains:
- Squarespace
- Your live website domain, such as
https://www.yourcompany.com - Your Squarespace editor/preview domain, such as h
ttps://www.yourcompany.squarespace.com
- Your live website domain, such as
⚠️ Important: Do not add any text after .com (e.g., about-us, contact-us).
When embedding a form into your Squarespace website, you have two options:
- Responsive Widget: Is intended for use on websites only.
- Fixed iFrame: Can be used both in Safari Portal and on websites.
- Preview how each option will appear on your website: Sample Embed Forms
📌 Note: When you edit your site in preview mode, Squarespace loads the editor version of the site, which has a different domain than your live website. If the Squarespace domain isn’t on your allowlist, your embedded form may not appear while you’re editing.
