You don’t need a full, detailed Itinerary to get a quick insurance quote. With a little set up, you can generate an estimate in just a few steps.

1. Create a Classic Builder Itinerary template with the following:

• Internal Notes: “Insurance quote only”
• Proposal Name: “Insurance Quote”
• Costs Tab: Ensure the checkbox is selected
• Details Tab: Add placeholder dates far in the future (e.g. December 1–5, 2029)
  

2. Create a Guest Portal Template with:

• Insurance toggle enabled (under the General Info tab)
  

3. Create a New File & Itinerary

• Create a new Itinerary from your template
• Save it to a new File named: Insurance – [Client Name, Month, Year of Trip]
  
  

4. Confirm the File, and:

• Select the option to create a Guest Portal from your template

5. Add Traveler Information

• Go to the Guest Forms tab
• Use Search Existing Guests to pull in traveler details from previously completed forms
• • Or, create new basic traveler profiles for anyone you need to generate a quote for who doesn't already have a contact profile
  • • All you need to add is First Name, Last Name, Email, and Country of Residence (if US, also add their state)

6. Generate the Insurance Quote

• Navigate to the Guest Portal → Guest Forms page
• Click Get Instant Quote, then enter:
• • Travel dates and destinations
  • Trip deposit date
  • Select travelers to include
  • Enter per-person trip cost
• Click Continue to generate the quote
