Like any financial service, Safari Portal’s invoicing and financial tools come with associated fees. Here’s a clear breakdown:|
1. Card Processing Fees
For Stripe, fees vary based on your region and your clients’ locations:
- For U.S.-based Operators (with U.S.-based cards):
- 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction (standard Stripe fee)
- +1.5% for international cards
- +1% if currency conversion is required
- For Non-U.S.-based Transactions:
- 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards
- 2.5% + 20p for EU cards
- Additional fees may apply for international transactions and currency conversions
For the most up-to-date details, we recommend checking Stripe’s official fee structure.
For our Flywire integration:
There are a lot of variable factors that go into how Flywire pricing works (typically the FX volume vs domestic payment volume, where you are based, etc.). Therefore, we have provided ranges, and the Flywire team will be able to put together a formal proposal based on your specific situation.
Domestic (USD-USD):
○ Mastercard/Visa: 3-3.5%
○ AMEX (where available): 3.95%
International (i.e based in South Africa, billing in USD) (USD-USD)
○ Mastercard/Visa: 3.25-4%
○ AMEX (where available): 3.95%
Foreign Exchange (i.e. USD-ZAR, EUR-USD)
○ Mastercard/Visa: 2%
○ AMEX (where available): 2.75%
2. Bank Transfer Fees via Stripe

- SEPA Transfers:

Stripe supports various payment methods, including iDEAL, Apple Pay, and more. Visit Stripe’s payment methods page for details.
3. Safari Portal Platform Fee
- A 0.5% platform fee applies to all incoming transactions, regardless of the payment method used.
How Fees Appear in Your Dashboard
After payments settle:
- You’ll see both the invoiced amount and the net amount (after fees) in your Financials dashboard.
- All projected profit calculations are based on the net amount, giving you an accurate view of your earnings.
- Note that it may take a few minutes after the payment is made for the net amounts to appear on your Financials dashboard.
