A Travel Brief Card allows users to view the full Travel Brief, or just the flights, accommodations, transportation, or any combination of those sections from a Calendar Builder itinerary directly within a Travel Dashboard. This gives guests quick access to key travel information at a glance. This card can also be enabled to show a countdown of days before a trip begins.

📌 Note: Currently, Travel Brief cards are only supported for Calendar Builder Itineraries.

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. In the section of your Travel Dashboard where you want to add the card, click the +Add button.
2. Select Travel Brief from the dropdown menu. This opens the Add Travel Brief window.
3. Under Card Design, enter a Card Title and, optionally, a Card Description.
4. Turn on Show Trip Countdown if you want to show a live countdown to depature on the card.
5. Turn on Show Button, then enter the Card Button Text or keep the default text.
6. Under General Information, use the Select File field to choose the File, then use the Select Itinerary field to choose the Calendar Builder Itinerary within that File.
7. Under Content, choose what to display when a guest clicks the button to view the Travel Brief.
8. 1. Each checked box becomes a tab in the Your Travel Brief modal that opens when a guest clicks the button.
   2. 1. Entire Travel Brief adds an "All" tab that includes every itinerary event
      2. Flights, Transportation, and Accommodation each add their own tab filtered to just that event type.
9. Use the card's Visibility setting to customize which guests can see the card.
10. Click Add Card to save the Travel Brief Card to your Travel Dashboard.

Tips & Tricks 💥

• When a guest clicks the card's button, the Travel Brief opens as a pop-up with tabs for All, Flights, Transportation, and Accommodation — whichever you enabled under Content. Each tab lists entries with Date, Activity, and Notes pulled straight from the itinerary.
• When Show Trip Countdown is turned on, the card shows a large number with "Days until departure" underneath it, counting down to the trip's start date.
• If Show Trip Countdown is turned off, the card shows only the text entered in Card Description.
• The countdown updates automatically and hides itself once the trip starts.
• The countdown updates based on each guest's own device and time zone, so every guest sees the correct number of days no matter where they're located.
• If Select Itinerary comes up empty, double-check that the File's itinerary was built in Calendar Builder.
• If your itinerary was built in Classic Builder, Travel Brief won't have anything to pull from. Check Displaying flights in Travel Dashboards for Classic Builder Itineraries for the full workaround.
• Hover over the card and click the pencil icon to access the edit menu. This dropdown gives you these options:
• • Edit Card changes the card title, description, countdown setting, and content tabs
  • Edit Itinerary opens the itinerary editor so you can modify the travel details
  • Change Section moves the card to a different section of your Travel Dashboard
  • Delete Card removes the card from your dashboard (a confirmation window will ask if you're sure)
