The Today Dashboard brings together the most important information across Safari Portal into a single, personalized view, helping you start (and finish) your day without jumping between modules.
From tasks and recent form submissions to upcoming trips, payments, world clocks, and more, the Today Dashboard is designed to become your operational home base.
Different throughout the day
The Today Dashboard automatically adapts based on your local time.
- ☀️ Morning Edition
- 🌤️ Afternoon Edition
- 🌙 Evening Edition
Each edition displays your local time, today's date, and a new inspirational quote each day.
Tasks
The Tasks card shows any tasks assigned to you that are:
- Overdue
- Due today
From the dashboard you can:
- Mark tasks as complete
- Snooze a task to quickly change its due date
- View all overdue tasks
- View all tasks due today
Selecting View All opens a drawer where you can:
- Filter between overdue and due today
- Bulk complete tasks
- Bulk reassign tasks
- Bulk delete tasks
Selecting View Tasks opens the full Task Manager.
Recent Form Submissions
Keep track of forms submitted by your clients without having to search through your inbox.
The Recent Form Submissions card displays the same form submissions you would normally receive email notifications for.
This respects each form's existing notification settings, so you'll only see submissions you're configured to receive.
From here you can:
- Preview submitted forms
- Download submitted forms
- Open the Contact Profile
- Open the associated File (if relevant)
- Open the original Form
Selecting View Forms opens the Forms module.
World Time
Keep track of the local time across the destinations and offices that matter most to your business.
By default, World Time includes:
- New York
- London
- Nairobi
- Sydney
You can fully customize your list by:
- Adding additional cities
- Removing cities
- Reordering locations
Each city also displays whether it's currently day or night.
Today at a Glance
The Today at a Glance section provides an instant overview of everything requiring your attention.
It includes:
- Overdue payments
- Payments due soon
- Tasks
- Trips currently traveling
- Trips departing soon
Note: Today at a Glance respects each user’s permissions. For example, if a user does not have access to Financials, payment information will not appear. If a user has permission to view financial information only for their own files, they will only see payments related to those files.
Selecting any metric opens a detailed drawer where you can review the underlying records.
For example, overdue payments can be filtered between:
- Incoming (ie, client payments)
- Supplier expenses
Trips display useful operational information including:
- Travel dates
- Destinations
- Trip progress
- First and last day indicators
Important Dates (coming soon)
The Today Dashboard will also highlight important upcoming dates, including:
Passports expiring soon
Quickly identify passports expiring within the next six months.
Each record displays:
- Traveler
- Passport expiry date
- Days until expiry
Upcoming birthdays
See birthdays happening within the next seven days.
Major milestone birthdays are also highlighted, including:
- 18
- 21
- 30
- 40
- Every ten years thereafter
Birthdays and passport reminders can be ignored if you no longer wish to see them.
