We’re always thinking of ways to help you work more efficiently within Safari Portal. Now, you can leverage artificial intelligence, or AI, while within Safari Portal to streamline your workflow and save even more time.

How to Access AI

• Via Text Block from the Element Library.
• • Hover between sections within any page. You will see a blue line with a blue plus button; click the blue plus to launch the Element Library.
  • Click into any text block and click the Ask AI button.
  • Type your prompt, then press Enter on your keyboard to generate or Esc to cancel
  • • • You'll know it works once you see AI is writing.

• Via the AI Element from the Element Library.
• • Hover between sections within any page. You will see a blue line with a blue plus button; click the blue plus to launch the Element Library.
  • Choose the AI Element.
  • Type your prompt, then press Enter on your keyboard to generate or Esc to cancel.
  • • You'll know it works once you see AI is writing.

📌 Note: Safari Portal AI is not currently available on the Rooms or Details tabs; it is only available within the inline editor when building a Content Page or customizing an Itinerary, Lookbook, or Guest Portal.

How to Use AI

Creating Property Pages

Are you creating a proposal with a property that doesn’t already live within your Content Library? You can now use AI to quickly draft the whole page content for you with one click.

Creating Area Pages

Are you booking a destination that doesn’t have an Area page in your Content Library? Or a tour that you don’t already have a description for? No worries. AI can help here, too.

Try a prompt like this:

Write an overview of the area [Name of area] located in [Country where area is] for a tourist. Include what the area is most known for, like iconic landmarks or historical events.

Creating Introductory Notes

If you need to draft an introductory note for your Itinerary or Lookbook, simply ask AI by copying and pasting the trip's detailed overview at the front of the Itinerary.

Try a prompt like this:

Write an introductory letter for a potential client. Summarize the trip in 3-5 short paragraphs. Include at least 3 highlights, do not repeat words, and keep the sentences short and succinct. The tone should be friendly. Use this Itinerary: [Paste detailed overview]

• Did you forget how many rooms are in a hotel, or wondering what street that restaurant is on? Ask AI to give you the info.

Important Note

No tool is perfect, and the same goes for technology like Claude or Safari Portal's AI.

⚠️ Important: When using AI-generated content, remember to double-check information for accuracy. AI can sometimes make mistakes, misinterpret data, or provide outdated content. Relying on human verification is crucial to maintaining high-quality and error-free content!
