How do I assign a File to another team member?
Learn to change the File owner.
There are two ways to reassign a File, along with its proposals, to another consultant within your company. You may need to reassign a File to another team member for reasons such as:
- A team member will be out of the office.
- Another team member is taking over the File.
- The File is transitioning to an operations team member after confirmation.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
Option One: From the Dashboard
- Click the three dots to the right of the File.
- Select Change File Owner from the dropdown.
- In the pop-up, select the team member's name from the dropdown.
- You can also search through names by typing in the Search field.

Option Two: From the File Details
- Expand the relevant File.
- Click Open File Details.
- Select File Owner.
- From the dropdown, choose the agent you want to reassign the File to.
- Click Save.
