How do I add directions for a self-drive itinerary to the Calendar Builder without a Content Page?
Adding blank pages allows you to do this easily.
Option 1: Add an Activity Event
You can add an activity event without linking it to a standalone page by using the "blank page" workaround, or by typing in "Directions to {place name}," clicking Create New, and then clicking Use as placeholder content when it prompts you to create a standalone Content Page).
- Click the desired day and select Activity.
- In the Content Page search bar, type "Blank" and select the first result.
- Add an Event Title and add directions in the Notes section. You can:
- Bullet out step-by-step directions.
- Include a link to Google Maps for easy access.
- Select a relevant icon (like the car icon for driving directions or the route icon for general navigation).
- Click Save. The event will automatically appear on the Travel Brief page.

Option 2: Add an Information Event
Another option is to use an Information event instead of an Activity event.
- Click the desired day and select Information.
- Search for "Blank" in the Content Page search bar. Select the first result.
- Fill out the page, including an Event Title. Add directions in the Notes section.
- Customize the icon to match the type of directions (for example, you could use a route icon or a car icon)
The added value to using an Information event is that you can control whether Information events appear on the Travel Brief page or not, via the Itinerary Settings.
Both methods allow you to include navigation details in the itinerary without pulling in extra content pages.
