About the PDF Element
Incorporating documents into your content pages and proposals

There are a few different ways that you can share PDF documents with travelers in Safari Portal.



Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Hover between two sections on any content page or in a Lookbook, Itinerary, or Guest Portal
  2. Click the blue plus button to open the Element Library, then select PDF

  3. Click the Add PDF button in the rectangle widget.

  4. You can add PDFs via two methods, and you can add more than one PDF.
    • Search your Document Library for previously uploaded PDFs.
    • Drag and drop a new file or click Upload PDF, add a name and at least one tag, then click Save.


The PDFs Appear in a Labeled Section on the Page.



How to Edit a PDF element

  1. Hover over the PDF element on the page until the PDF icon and trash icon appear, then click the PDF icon.

  2. In the pop-up menu, you can do a number of things to manage the PDFs. Don't forget to Save when done.
    • Click and drag to rearrange the order of the PDFs.
    • Click the trash icon to remove a PDF.
    • Click the edit icon to edit document names and tags.
    • Add PDFs via uploading or searching the document library.

How PDFs Are Accessed on Shared Links

On shared links—including Itineraries, Lookbooks, Guest Portals, or Content Pages—PDFs can be accessed in the following ways:

  • Preview the PDF without leaving the proposal by clicking the eye icon.
  • Download the PDF by clicking the download icon.
  • Open the PDF in a separate tab by clicking the name of the PDF.
