🧩 Content Library
Getting Started Guide: Access, create, and manage all the reusable components you will use in the Lookbooks, Itineraries, and Guest Portals you create.

Welcome to your Quick Start to the Content Library – the heart and soul of Safari Portal 💕

Your Content Library is where you can create and manage all the reusable components you will use in the Itineraries, Lookbooks, Travel Dashboards, and Guest Portals you create.

Preloaded Content

There are thousands of beautiful, professionally curated Property and Area profile pages already preloaded on Safari Portal. You can always duplicate anything that is already in the library and tweak it to make it your own, or for a specific audience or season - for example, an Area Page for New York in Summer, or Paris for honeymooners.

But even more than that, you can always create any content you need from scratch by clicking the Create New button in the top right.

Create Your Own Content

In addition to the thousands of pages preloaded on Safari Portal, you can create any of the following page types. These all live in your Content Library. Start from scratch or tweak a page that already exists!

You are also able to create content on the fly, meaning you can build content in the flow of creating an Itinerary and save it to your Content Library for future use, at the same time.

Once a page is saved to your Content Library, you can reuse it across multiple client experiences and optionally push updates everywhere it is used.

Property Pages

Property pages are property profiles with descriptions of the property, photos, videos, fact facts, and room information. Safari Portal has a built-in generative AI feature that allows you to draft entire, detailed property pages with one click.

Area Pages

Area pages could include details on landmarks, regions, or languages. You can also use Safari Portal's in-built AI assistant to generate area descriptions, if the destination you need isn't already in the Content Library.

Activity Pages

Activity pages are perfect for tours and activities, or even restaurant profile pages, that you frequently reuse, making it easy to maintain consistency and save time.

Miscellaneous Pages

Use Miscellaneous pages for Terms & Conditions, Next Steps slides, packing lists, travel tips, or anything else that doesn’t fit neatly into another category.

About Us Pages

Use About Us pages to provide background information about your company. You might also have another version of the page with a section about you as the consultant, a bio for a private guide leading the trip, or a company profile page for a partnering agent you're collaborating with if you are a DMC.

Introductory Notes Pages

On Introductory Note pages you can create reusable introductions, such as "An introduction to your honeymoon in Seychelles" or "Introduction to a Cape Town - Kruger - Winelands trip," with listed highlights.

Pre Travel Information Pages

The layout for Pre Travel Information pages is a bit different. They're set up like FAQs with accordions that open and close to show more information. You can customize this information to fit any travel destination your clients are going to. In fact, this "pre-travel" layout could even work well for cruise itinerary pages.

Resource Pages & Internal Information

Every Content Library page also includes an associated Resource page where you can store internal operational information related to that content.

This could include:

  • supplier contacts
  • internal notes
  • inspection photos
  • PDFs and documents
  • operational references
  • availability links

This allows your team to centralize both beautiful client-facing content and internal operational knowledge in one place.

Privacy

Anything you create or customize within your Content Library — including internal Resource information, notes, contacts, and uploaded media — is private to your account unless explicitly shared.

Nobody outside of your account will have access to or see anything you create or any photos you add to your Media Library, unless you specifically share it with them.
