Can I make a proposal link no longer viewable?
Learn how you can deactivate a link to a Lookbook, Itinerary, or Guest Portal.

You can easily deactivate a link for an Itinerary, Lookbook, or Guest Portal so it is no longer viewable.

If you’ve created and shared multiple versions of an Itinerary or Lookbook, it’s a good idea to deactivate obsolete links to avoid confusion. Deactivating older links helps prevent clients from accidentally referencing outdated versions instead of the confirmed Itinerary.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. From your Dashboard, expand the relevant File.
  2. Click the three dots next to the proposal or Guest Portal you want to deactivate.
  3. Select the Deactivate Link from the dropdown.
  4. The Internal Notes will now include a note indicating that the link has been deactivated.

  5. If you ever want to reactivate the link again, click the three dots and select Activate Link.

What Clients Will See

If someone tries to access a deactivated link, they will see a screen notifying them the link has been deactivated. Note, you will still receive a notification that someone attempted to view the link.

Troubleshooting

If you don't see the Deactivate Link option from the dropdown, it likely means you haven't completed the Lookbook or Itinerary creation process.

To resolve this, ensure you've reached the final step in the creation process—either the Itinerary tab (for Itineraries), the Lookbook tab (for Lookbooks)—and click Save.

Once your Itinerary or Lookbook is successfully saved, the Deactivate Link option will appear in the dropdown.
