What are Leads Files, and how do I use them?
Follow these steps to organize and manage your Leads.

The Leads pipeline on your Files Dashboard allows you to track any new inquiries that come in, and qualify them before starting to plan a trip. A Lead is just a new File. When you create a new File it lands automatically in your Leads pipeline. This guide walks you through how to customize what you track.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. From your Files Dashboard, click Create New.
  2. Select File from the dropdown.
  3. Fill out the relevant information for your File.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Your new File is automatically placed in your Leads pipeline. Find it by clicking the Leads tab on your Files Dashboard.

Organizing Your Data: Customize, Reorder, or Delete Fields

When creating new Leads, you can customize details like Source, Trip Type, Travel Region, and Tags to better capture the information that matters most to you. Just click Manage List at the bottom of a field dropdown.

  • From here, you can change property names—for example, updating Lead Sources to reflect the specific lead sources relevant to your business.
  • You can delete an option by clicking the trash icon.
  • Reorder fields by dragging and dropping them using the six-dot handle.
  • Click the + to add additional properties.

Lead Forms → Lead Files

You can create Lead Forms from the Forms module. Whenever someone submits a Lead Form, Safari Portal will automatically create a new Lead File.

The new Lead File will be automatically assigned to the person who created the Lead Form, and can be reassigned from there.

The submitted form will automatically be attached to the Lead File, and the person who submitted the form will automatically be added to the Travelers tab, ensuring all lead information is captured in the right place from the very beginning.

Tips & Tricks 💥

  • If you ever need to move a File that’s currently sitting in another pipeline into the Leads pipeline, you can do that from the three-dot menu on that file; just select Move to Leads from the dropdown.
