When a traveler books a Bookable Trip, Safari Portal automatically sends two emails to help guide them through the booking and payment process.
At this time, these emails cannot be disabled.
Booking confirmation email
The first email is sent immediately after the traveler completes the booking flow, just before they are redirected to the invoice to complete checkout.
This email includes:
- A summary of the options they selected
- A link back to their invoice
- A reminder that their reservation is being held for 60 minutes
Travelers also see this booking summary on screen before being redirected to the invoice. The email acts as a backup so they can easily return to their booking if they accidentally close their browser or lose the tab without having to start the booking process again.
Payment confirmation email
The second email is sent immediately after the traveler successfully completes payment.
This email confirms that the traveler's payment has been received and can also be used to communicate important next steps or let them know what to expect next.
Can these emails be turned off?
At this time, the booking confirmation and payment confirmation emails are sent automatically and cannot be disabled.
