Quick Takeaways
- Rachel ran through a grab bag of smaller features that have quietly shipped over the past few months โ easy to miss individually, but they add up to a real difference in your day-to-day workflow.
- The Information tab on any File tracks more than you'd think. Sales Consultant lets you credit whoever sold the trip even after you hand the file to an ops person as File Owner. Partner Agent, tags, suppliers, source, trip type, and travel region are all filterable โ and trip type and travel region are fully customizable through Manage List, so you can build your own categories and report on them.
- Filling in that data now pays off later. Safari Portal's upcoming MCP server and in-app AI chat will read straight from these fields, so you'll be able to ask things like "what's our conversion rate on honeymoons versus family trips" โ but only for files where the fields were filled in.
- "Create Lead" is now "Create File." Nothing about the workflow changed, just the name โ each inquiry or trip still gets its own file, and estimated trip value and profit are trackable right from creation.
- The calendar view on your Files Dashboard is easy to miss but worth finding. Toggle it on next to the table view for a calendar of tasks, payments due, and itinerary events across every file โ including a running "Day 2 of 10" or "departs in 100 days" for each trip.
- The Today Dashboard is your other operational home base. A daily quote, overdue/due tasks with one-click snoozing, recent form submissions, upcoming payments, trips traveling now or within 7 days, world clocks, and passport-expiry and birthday reminders (with a shout-out for milestone birthdays) โ all pulled from Contacts.
- A one-click Trip Summary download now lives at the top of any expanded file โ guest names, activities, flights, and amount paid in one clean document, handy for visa applications or a quick confirmation doc.
- Magic Import works today and is getting a major upgrade with Super Builder. It already turns an outside PDF quote into a Calendar Builder itinerary, mapping accommodations and activities for you to confirm or swap. It's Calendar Builderโonly for now; Super Builder will let you convert between Classic, Calendar, and Lookbooks.
- Export a Calendar Builder itinerary straight to Google Sheets, pre-built with markup formulas โ plug in your rates and nights, and it prices the trip out for you. Set up the integration once under Account Settings.
- Bed Night Reports are back on the Files Dashboard under More Options, breakable out by property, portfolio, destination, date range, partner agent, and area โ a fast way to spot where your business is actually going.
- Sharing an itinerary with a Partner Agent sends a one-time copy today, not a live sync โ changes on either side won't show up for the other. Super Builder adds the option for a fully synced, permissioned, audited version.
- Themes now cover invoices, Travel Dashboards, and forms โ set a brand kit with your fonts, colors, and button style, then layer individual themes per output. Itineraries and Lookbooks get Theme support once Super Builder ships. Have a custom font or want a custom theme built? Just ask.
- Two new Travel Dashboard features: Trip Countdowns on the Travel Brief card (toggle on, and you can hide the buttons if you just want the countdown), and per-card visibility โ so, for example, an invoice card can be limited to just the people responsible for paying.
- Travel insurance can now live on a Travel Dashboard, not just a Guest Portal. New Guest Portals stop being creatable after the end of 2026 (existing ones are supported through 2027), so this is the moment to move over. Add the trip cost and payment date, and it generates an essential and a premium quote โ and you keep the full commission.
- A new Notes field on the Travelers tab (launched the morning of this webinar) lets you jot down anything client-specific โ "only likes feather pillows" โ that lives with the trip and travels with any download or supplier share. Bookings-tab notes are coming next for rooming and bedding preferences.
- ๐ Congratulations to Brenna Sullivan, winner of the Travel Dashboard Showcase โ voting was close all the way through.
- From the Q&A. Web form leads can flow into Safari Portal automatically by rebuilding the form as a native lead form (or via Zapier/API if you're tied to an outside form); pipelines and stages are account-wide, not per-user; Today Dashboard filtering by sales consultant isn't available yet but is planned, as is letting you customize thresholds (birthday lead time, passport-expiry window, trip-departure window) over the next four to six weeks; and a Google Sheets import into Super Builder is expected to work the same way Magic Import handles PDFs and other file types today.
