When managing your Task Sets, you can define due dates that are relative to certain triggering events, such as the date the file is created, the date the file in confirmed, the start date of the trip, and others. Until these triggering events occur, your tasks will remain in the TBD column.
For example, if a task is set to be due 1 day after the file is confirmed, it will move from the TBD column to the appropriate column in the Task Manager only after the file is confirmed on the Dashboard.

Configuring tasks using event triggers allows you to pre-schedule due dates at scale, if you know that your workflow always requires certain things to be done at certain times. The tasks are always created as soon as a Task Set is attached to a File, but it will not have actual due dates until the triggering event happens. This helps keep your workflow organized and efficient.
