Adding a Lookbook Card to a Travel Dashboard
Display an existing Lookbook, or create a brand-new one from scratch right inside the card window.
A Lookbook Card lets you display any Lookbook from any File as a standalone card on your Travel Dashboard. You can choose a Lookbook that already exists, or you can create a brand-new one from scratch right inside the card window, without leaving the dashboard. You can also start from a template instead of a blank Lookbook, if you prefer. When guests click the card, the Lookbook opens in a new browser tab, allowing them to explore the full presentation while keeping the Travel Dashboard as their central hub.
Step-By-Step Instructions
- In the section of your Travel Dashboard where you'd like to add the card, click + Add.
- Select Lookbook from the dropdown menu. This opens the Add Lookbook window.
- Under Settings, choose whether to enable Table of Contents:
- On: The card expands to double width and displays the Lookbook's table of contents as a scrollable list of clickable sections on the left, with the cover image and card title on the right.
- Off (default): The card remains standard width and displays only the cover image and card title.
- Under General Information, choose Search Lookbooks to use an existing Lookbook, or New Lookbook to create a brand-new one.
If You Choose Search Lookbooks
- Choose the File that contains your Lookbook using Select File. By default, this is the File associated with the Travel Dashboard, but you can select a different File if needed.
- Use Select Lookbook to choose the Lookbook within that File that you'd like to display.
- The Name field will automatically populate with the Lookbook's name. This is the title that appears on the card, but you can edit it if you'd like to display a custom name.
- Click Add Card to save the Lookbook Card to your Travel Dashboard.
If You Choose New Lookbook
- Choose New from Scratch to start with a blank Lookbook, or New from Template to build from one of your own templates or a Safari Portal template.
- Either option takes you into the normal Lookbook editor to build out your Lookbook.
- When you're finished, click Back to Travel Dashboard at the top. Your new Lookbook has been added to the dashboard as the Lookbook Card automatically.
