When a traveler completes a Credit Card Authorization form, the card details are stored securely for the authorization period selected on the form (for example, 60 days or 12 months).
Once that authorization period expires, the card details are no longer accessible within Safari Portal.
However, the signed Credit Card Authorization form remains available as a PDF for your records. This provides a historical record showing that the traveler approved the authorization, even though the card information itself can no longer be viewed.
Important notes
- Once the authorization period expires, the card details are no longer accessible.
- The signed authorization PDF remains available for historical and compliance purposes.
- The PDF serves as proof that the traveler provided authorization during the approved timeframe.
- A new Credit Card Authorization form must be completed if a new authorization period is required.
