Using Textual Descriptions from Third-Party Systems
If you’re using a third-party system to generate your quotes and have connected it to Safari Portal via the API, you can pull textual descriptions from the third-party platform directly into your itineraries. This feature is currently available only for Calendar Builder itineraries.
Important Notes:
- Images from Third-Party Systems:
- It’s not currently possible to pull images stored on third-party platforms.
- Workaround: Create Content Pages in Safari Portal with images:
- Add at least a primary image on the left.
- Ideally, include one or more additional images on the right for a richer visual experience.
- Map the Safari Portal Content Page (with the images) to the corresponding service item in your third-party quotation platform (which includes the textual description).
This approach lets you manage all textual descriptions in your third-party system while leveraging Safari Portal for visual content, ensuring a seamless and visually engaging experience for your clients.
