The Costs tab offers built-in flexibility and time-saving functionality. For example, using cost templates can significantly reduce setup time. Selecting frequently used options from the dropdown menu in the first section also streamlines the process.

However, there may be situations where you need to deviate from the options provided in the dropdown. For instance, you might need to specify that the cost for adults differs from the cost for children, or that one family’s costs vary from another’s. Here’s how you can handle such cases:

1. Hide the first section: Click the Hide button to remove the default options.
2. Use the Miscellaneous section: Enter the different pricing details manually in this section.
3. Note on display: The Miscellaneous section does not show a header when displayed on the Costs page within an itinerary, providing even more flexibility.
