Here's What You Can Do with Classic Builder Itineraries
- Generate An Itinerary With a Page for Every Individual Content Page: In Classic Builder, any content page that you include in the Itinerary by @mentioning it from the Details tab will automatically generate its own dedicated page within the Itinerary.
- Customizable Layout Options: You have full control over the placement of your content. For instance, you can insert complete pages between events with set dates, giving you flexibility to organize the itinerary exactly as you want.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Create new from Dashboard
- Click the + Create New button from your Dashboard.
- Then click New Itinerary.

General Info tab
- You will be taken to the General Info tab of the Itinerary builder. This is the same for all builder modes.
Details Tab
- First, select Classic Builder from the pop-up
- You will have a Table View where you can add different event types
- @mention pages from your Content Library to add content to your itinerary
- Type the @ symbol to trigger a search of the Content Library, and start typing the name of the property you would like to include.
- Pro tip: when you search for a page, use spaces in the search: i.e., @duba plains camp not @dubaplainscamp
- If the page already exists in your Content Library, you can simply use the existing one.
- Alternatively, click + Create New to create a new page on the fly and save it to your Content Library in one step.
Adding Accommodations
When @mentioning Property Pages in the Accommodations & Rooming column, you can follow the prompts to:
- Select any relevant room types
- Indicate whether you would like to include the associated Area page
- The system gives you the flexibility to skip pulling in an Area page
- You may want to do this if, for example, clients are in Johannesburg at both the start and end of their trip, or when they’re staying at two camps in the Maasai Mara and you don’t want to repeat the same information.
- If you are not sure what Area Page is attached to the property, click the eye icon to preview the attached Area Page.
- You can also click Choose my own if you want to include your own custom Area Page from your Content Library.
Adding Activities
You can @mention activities in the Transfers, Flights, and Daily Activities column too!
- This will display the @mentioned content page on that day within the itinerary
- You can also simply free write any information about activities in the Transfers, Flights, and Daily Activities section. This content will appear on the Overview page, but it won't be displayed as a separate page within the main body of the itinerary.
Configuring Dates
Hide or Show Dates
You can choose to display actual dates on your itinerary, or create a sample itinerary with placeholder dates. In the latter case, the itinerary will use "Day 1," "Day 2," "Day 3," and so on.
- Click the Organize By Date button and choose Organize By Day from the dropdown to hide dates
Update the Start Date
You can also easily change the Start Date for the whole trip.
Configure the Date Format
Use the Itinerary Settings icon to configure the date settings if for example you want to display dates in the DDMMYYYY format
Important Tips
- We recommend avoiding the addition of more than one @mentioned page in the Transfers, Flights, or Daily Activities section within a single row. Doing so will generate multiple sequential pages for the same date, which can be confusing—especially if you end up with several pages for one day and only one for the next. To prevent this, it's best to limit each row to a single @mentioned page. For a more streamlined approach, consider using Content Blocks or, even better, the Calendar Builder.
- If there are multiple events on the same day, it's best to keep them on the same row, rather than adding multiple rows for the same day.
