Who can view credit card information?
Understand which users have access to credit card details.

The Account Admin can choose what credit card information each user can view. Here's how:
Step-By-Step Instructions
- Click the profile icon in the top-right corner of Safari Portal.
- Select Settings from the dropdown.
- Click on the Users tab.
- If you are updating a current users permission, click on the pencil icon next to their name.
- If you are inviting a new user to the Safari Portal platform follow this process.
- Scroll to the Contacts section of the permissions list.
- Check the box that says, View credit card info.
- When the dropdown appears choose My Own or All.
- My Own: The user can only view the credit card information for credit card authorization links they generated.
- All: The user can view all credit card information regardless of who generated the credit card authorization link.
- Click Save.

Accessing Stored Card Information
- Navigate to the Contacts module.
- Click Profile next to the relevant contact.
- Go to the Credit Cards tab.
- Scroll to Saved Credit Cards.
- Click Show Credit Card.
- Enter your Safari Portal password for secure access.
📌 Note: Card details are visible for 60 days by default. You can choose to keep them on file for up to 12 months when generating the credit card authorization link.

Access Billing Details
Under the Saved Credit Cards section, click the eye icon to view:
- Client’s name
- Last four digits of the credit card number
- Authorization date
- Visible-until date
- Amount authorized
- IP address
- Client's city
- Client's full billing address and phone number
- Full Terms & Conditions

Security and Compliance
- All credit card data is stored in PCI Vault, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant vault.
- Safari Portal does not store card data directly.
- PCI Vault uses secure encryption and tokenization to protect all sensitive information.
- Card details are visible for either 60 days or up to one year after submission, to the advisor who created the link, or to any team members with permissions to see "all" card information.
📌 Note: By submitting their card information, clients agree to PCI Vault’s Terms of Service and release Safari Portal of any liability beyond compliance with those terms.
