If you’re the Account Admin and need to remove a user from your Safari Portal account, follow these steps.

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Click the profile icon in the top-right corner of Safari Portal.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
3. Go to the Users tab.
4. In the Account Users section, find the user you want to remove.
5. Click the trash can icon next to their name.
6. The Delete User & Transfer Data window opens. Select the user who should receive the deleted user's data.
7. Click Confirm.

⚠️ Important:

• When you delete a user, you must select another user to receive their Files, tasks, invoices, and other account data. One user is already selected when the window opens, so check your choice before you click Confirm.
• If you need to remove an extra seat, please reach out to our team directly as deleting a user does not automatically update your billing.
  

Deactivating Users

If you want to temporarily remove a user's access without deleting them, simply toggle their access off instead of clicking the Trash icon.

When a user is deactivated:

• They can no longer log in to Safari Portal.
• All files, tasks, and assignments remain associated with them.
• Their access can be restored at any time by toggling them back on.
• They do not occupy a user seat while deactivated.
