Roles make it easy to manage permissions across your team. Instead of updating each team member's permissions individually, you can assign users to roles.
Safari Portal comes with 6 preset Roles, each with its own specific permissions. You can also create a custom Role with your own settings and save it to reuse whenever you need it.
👉 You can assign multiple Account Admins to help manage your account. This way, more than one person can manage billing, users, and account-wide settings.
The Built In Roles
Safari Portal includes 6 preset Roles. Here is what each one does:
- Account Administrator: Full access across every module, plus billing, subscriptions, and user management. This Role can be assigned to multiple people.
- Manager: Full operational access across the platform, including content, financials, themes, and templates. Cannot manage billing, user permissions, or roles.
- Sales Team: Manage clients, trips, tasks, and communications, with financial access limited to their own files.
- Finance: Manage payments, payouts, and financial reporting, with read only access elsewhere.
- Content Editor: Create and manage content pages and templates. No access to trips, files, messaging, or financials.
- Assistant: For assistants focused on admin work and itinerary building. Limited visibility and permissions, with access only to assigned files.
- Custom Roles: Click Add New Role to create your own Role with their own permissions, and save it to reuse whenever you need them.
