How can I add transfer information to Classic Builder itineraries?

There are a number of different ways to display transfer details when using Classic Builder. But firstly, we would suggest trying out the Calendar Builder, as it handles this incredibly seamlessly.

Here are a few other options to consider if you want to stay with Classic Builder:

Using the Transfers, Flights, Daily Activities Column

On the same row as the Accommodations & Rooming

The first option, which we recommend, is to utilize the dedicated 'Transfers, Flights, and Daily Activities column on the Details tab of the itinerary creation flow.

On the itinerary itself, this information will be shown on the Overview page, but not within the individual Day pages.

In the example below, transfer details were added to the Transfers, Flights, and Daily Activities column, as shown in the screenshot above, on the same row as the Accommodations & Rooming information. This approach displays the transfer details under the same date range heading as the accommodation details.

On its own row

Alternatively, you can use the Transfers, Flights, and Daily Activities column to display transfers as a separate line item, distinct from the accommodation date range.

To do this, simply select Activity from the Date column, and add a separate row below it for the accommodation.

This will display the transfer details separate from the date range heading with the accommodation details.

Using a Standalone Transfers Page

Another option is to create and pull a designated Transfers content page into your itinerary.

To do so:

  1. Navigate to your Content Library and create a new Content Page.
  2. From the Select Page Type dropdown menu, choose a Miscellaneous page
  3. Set a primary image, and structure the content page with the headings or layout you would like to use
  4. Now while creating an itinerary, in the Information Pages from Content Library section on the General Info tab, search for and select the Transfers page you just created.

Then, within the Itinerary tab, add the relevant transfer information.

Adding the Transfer Information to the Day Page

Yet another option is to incorporate transfer information into the individual Day pages while in the Itinerary tab of the creation flow, by utilizing the fast facts element, or simply a text block.
